About the Niroga Center

The Niroga Yoga Center in Berkeley is a spacious and eco-friendly studio, offering Healing Yoga and meditation classes. The Center has yoga classes for everyone, including special populations, such as cancer survivors and seniors.

Healing Yoga clinics and consultations, and other treatments are available for holistic healing of common chronic conditions, integrating our whole beings - body, mind, heart and spirit.

About Niroga Institute

Niroga is a non-profit organization that seeks to foster health and well being through Transformative Life Skills (TLS) for at-risk and underserved individuals, families, and communities.

Through outreach, education, and research, we bring Transformative Life Skills to communities in need, such as incarcerated youth, high school students, and cancer survivors, many of whom may not otherwise seek out or have the opportunity to learn and practice these skills.

Niroga Institute strives to foster health and well being for individuals, families, and communities through the practice of Yoga. The Sanskrit word, Niroga, means 'freedom from disease' or integral health - health of body, mind, and spirit.
