Niroga Center Yoga Teachers

Misako Kashima

Misako Kashima has been practicing yoga joyfully for the past decade. She loves what yoga does for her and wants to share that experience with others. She has been teaching for Niroga since she was certified through Niroga’s Teacher Training in May 2008, and now teaches yoga bilingually for Japanese seniors at a Berkeley senior center as well. As a licensed, experienced body worker, Misako now incorporates individualized yoga into her massage-therapy practice with outstanding results.

Yoga means connecting body, mind, spirit and people without borders. As a body worker, her classes focus on the therapeutic aspect of Yoga, guiding people to practice for their physical and mental benefit while safely working at their own pace.
