Miriam Shipp, M.D.
Miriam Shipp, M.D. specializes in teaching therapeutic Yoga. A physician with specialties in Preventive Medicine and Occupational/Environmental Medicine, she is also a registered yoga teacher. Miriam teaches therapeutic yoga for those with back injuries and repetitive strain injuries, as well as other musculo-skeletal conditions. In addition, she has taught yoga for women, with workshops in prenatal yoga, yoga for menopause, osteoporosis prevention, and other women’s health issues.
