Vlad Moskovski
Vlad Moskovski is a certified NLP practitioner, yoga instructor, and meditation teacher. Yoga and meditation has been his life and passion for over 10 years. His teaching approach is founded on the philosophy that meditation and mindfulness should be integrated into people’s daily lives and the techniques should be simple and accessible to all. Using metaphors and story- telling, Vlad is able to share his knowledge in a fun and interactive fashion. He is dedicated to bringing contemplative practices such as yoga and meditation to schools, corporations, and health care fields. Vlad was born in Russia, lived in Israel, and grew up in New Jersey before moving to Berkeley, California. He is co-founder of the donation based outdoor yoga organization Yoga on the Bay and also runs a website where he writes articles on health, meditation and yoga. Mindful Raja Flow Class:
Vlad integrates his training in Upeksha yoga with Iyengar, Ashtanga, and Integral yoga styles to weave a class that is active yet mindful, restorative yet challenging, both playful and meditative. Every class begins with a moment to pause- a ceremony in honor of the present moment, a way of welcoming the next one to come. Multiple variations of poses are given to meet students at their levels and offer more challenging poses to work towards. This class is focused on movement as a form of meditation and works on linking body, breath, and mind.
Yoga and Meditation Class:
Following an asana practice - physical poses, we will transition into yogic breathing techniques (pranayama) arriving into stillness and ending with a meditation period. Come experience the power of breathing practices followed by meditation techniques drawing from the Raja Yoga, Patanjali Yoga Sutra, and Vipassana traditions. Class is adaptable to all levels of ability and experience.
